Mother of 9 by 4 Dads Sparks Outcry, Plans 10th Child Amidst Troll Attacks

Whittney Dawn, a 27-year-old mother residing in the US, has become the subject of widespread online discussion and outrage following her admission of wanting a tenth child. Currently a mother of nine, Dawn has openly shared that her children have four different biological fathers, a detail that has further fueled the public debate surrounding her family choices.
Dawn's journey into motherhood began at the young age of 16, and since then, she has welcomed a child almost every year. Her growing family includes Brandon, aged 10; Kinley, 9; Namaya, 8; Dawson, 7; five-year-old twins Cambriella and Camden; Octavia, 4; Liam, 3; and her youngest, Kyus, who is two months old. This rapid expansion of her family has been facilitated through a series of relationships. Her second partner not only fathered three of her children but also embraced her eldest daughter, Brandon, as his own. Following that relationship, she had twins with a third partner. She has now found stability and settled down with her fourth "baby daddy," William, who is also her husband. Together, Whittney and William are biological parents to three of her children and express a strong desire to have another, bringing their total to ten.
Speaking about her current husband, Whittney shared that William was very accepting of her large family. "William loved the fact that I had so many kids," she stated, highlighting how much she appreciated his embrace of her children as his own, describing him as "an amazing dad from day one." This shared enthusiasm for a large family underpins their current plans to expand further.
However, Whittney's unconventional family structure and her intention to have more children have generated significant backlash, particularly on her social media platforms. She revealed that her posts are often met with a barrage of negative comments. Critics frequently tell her "to keep my legs closed" or sarcastically inquire if she understands what birth control is. Other comments include rhetorical questions like, "Why are you popping out babies like you're popping money from an ATM?"
Despite the overwhelming negativity and even warnings from her own family against having another child, Whittney remains defiant. When asked about these critical comments, she asserted, "Do they think it's going to make me stop having kids? I'm only going to say two words. 'Make me.'" She acknowledges that she might eventually stop having children but states, "I do think I will stop having children one day, but I don't know when that day will be."
The YouTube video featuring Whittney's story garnered over 11,000 views, prompting a wave of public commentary. Many viewers expressed concerns about the well-being of her children, questioning her ability to provide adequate individual attention to each child. One commenter wrote, "Even if you could afford to have that many kids, you'd never be able to give each of them the same amount of attention." Another voiced worries about "parentification" for the older children, while a third commenter expressed sympathy, suggesting the children were "stuffed into that little house." Financial capacity was also a recurring theme, with one person stating, "I mean wanting a big family is great as long as you can support them all financially." The fact that she has four different biological fathers for her children also drew criticism, with one person remarking, "Four different baby daddies... That's nothing to brag about."
