Martinelli Commands EA FC 26: Team of the Week 18 Spotlight!

EA Sports FC 26 has unveiled its highly anticipated Team of the Week 18, celebrating standout players who delivered exceptional performances on the pitch. This week’s selection highlights four elite athletes awarded 87 OVR items, recognizing key moments from their respective leagues and competitions. These enhanced cards offer substantial upgrades over standard versions, making them highly coveted among EA FC 26 players.
Leading the charge is Arsenal FC's Brazilian winger, Gabriel Martinelli. Martinelli was pivotal in Arsenal’s commanding 4-1 FA Cup victory over Portsmouth, scoring a hat-trick that secured his team’s progression to the next round. His 87 OVR TOTW card boasts 95 Pace and 89 Dribbling, making him a formidable attacking presence in-game.
Joining Martinelli in the 87 OVR bracket is Chelsea FC's dynamic winger, Sandy Baltimore. Baltimore impressed by scoring twice in Chelsea’s 5-0 demolition of West Ham United. Her clinical finishing and impactful play earned her a well-deserved spot in the Team of the Week.
The Saudi Pro League also produced two top-tier performers with 87 OVR items. Karim Benzema, captain of Al Ittihad, delivered a hat-trick in a 4-0 rout of Al Kholood, underlining his ongoing excellence and leadership. Rúben Neves of Al Hilal also earned an 87 OVR card, contributing a goal and assist in a 3-0 victory over Al Hazem and following it up with a 3-1 win against Al Nassr. Notably, this marks Neves’ second inclusion in the TOTW, highlighting his consistent top-level performance.
The full Team of the Week 18 roster features diverse talent across global leagues. 86 OVR cards were awarded to Jonathan Ikoné (Paris FC), Harvey Barnes (Newcastle United), Jamie Leweling (VfB Stuttgart), Sydney Schertenleib (Barcelona), Rico Lewis (Manchester City), Alberto Moleiro (Villarreal), and Phallon Tullis-Joyce (Manchester United). Other notable inclusions in the 85 and 84 OVR range include Edna Imade (Real Sociedad - 85 OVR), Álex Moreno (Girona - 84 OVR), Kevin Diks (Borussia Mönchengladbach - 84 OVR), George Dobson (Wrexham - 84 OVR), Weston McKennie (Juventus - 84 OVR), Emil Riis Jakobsen (Bristol City - 84 OVR), Jesús Ramírez (C.D. Nacional - 84 OVR), Paul Wanner (PSV Eindhoven - 84 OVR), Ilario Monterisi (Frosinone - 84 OVR), Afonso Moreira (Lyon - 84 OVR), Yanis Issoufou (Montpellier - 84 OVR), and Kenan Kodro (Real Zaragoza - 84 OVR).
