Media personality and actress Idia Aisien recently unveiled a captivating series of birthday portraits, leading many to suggest she has entered her 'blooming era'. To commemorate her special day, Aisien was photographed in a serene garden courtyard, embodying a theme of growth, renewal, and new beginnings through her meticulously chosen attire.
The centerpiece of her birthday editorial was a custom, floor-length botanical mesh gown, a stunning creation by fashion designer Pesigha Elizabeth Selekere. Styled by creative director Henry Emeka, the gown was designed to make it appear as though flowers were blossoming directly from Aisien's skin. Built on a sheer, skin-toned mesh base that perfectly mirrored her complexion, the dress allowed vibrant pink, bright blue, and white roses to take center stage across the bodice. As the design cascaded downwards, the dense floral arrangement gracefully transitioned into trailing vines, ivy leaves, and scattered blossoms that spilled onto the stone pathway, enhancing the organic feel of the ensemble.
Complementing the intricate gown, Idia Aisien's beauty look featured soft-glam makeup with sculpted neutral brown lips and long, voluminous water-wave curls flowing down her back. This understated yet elegant styling by Henry Emeka ensured that the elaborate botanical dress remained the focal point of the entire look. With Aisien posing in the strapless, flesh-toned gown, holding an apple above her head in some shots, the entire presentation evoked the essence of a blossoming garden. Many remarked that if the blooming season had a dress code, this bespoke botanical dress by Pesigha Elizabeth Selekere would undoubtedly be it.
