Hilda Baci Shatters Records Again! The Culinary Queen Becomes a Three-Time Guinness World Record Holder

Celebrated chef Hilda Baci has commenced the year on an extraordinary note, announcing that she is now a three-time Guinness World Records holder. This remarkable update comes months after her globally recognized achievement for preparing the largest serving of Nigerian jollof rice. Hilda shared her surprise and joy on social media, expressing her disbelief at the new milestone.
Reflecting on the discovery, Hilda recounted, "Woke up a three-time Guinness World Records holder and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. What a way to step into 2026." She described how she stumbled upon the news while casually checking her emails, feeling both shocked and happy, completely caught off guard. "Five months after the initial record announcement, I was just finding out that there was more. Honestly, God is faithful. The kind of faithful that still surprises you," she added, highlighting her gratitude for the unexpected blessing.
Hilda's journey to global recognition began in 2023 when she first set a Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. She cooked continuously for an astonishing 93 hours and 11 minutes, capturing the attention and admiration of many.
Her second historic feat occurred on September 12, 2025, when she partnered with Gino Nigeria to prepare the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice. This monumental dish, weighing an impressive 8,780 kilograms, was cooked at Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos. Guinness World Records officially confirmed this achievement on September 15, 2025, after meticulously verifying that all guidelines, from cooking proportions to food distribution, were met.
With this latest confirmation, Hilda Baci officially holds three Guinness World Records, further solidifying her status as an iconic figure in the culinary world and an inspiration to many. Her journey is a testament to perseverance and unexpected blessings.
