Global Superstars Unite for Electrifying FIFA World Cup 2026 Anthem!

As the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup 2026 prepares for its grand kickoff on Thursday, June 11, the global football spectacle is set to resonate with a powerful new anthem titled “DNA.” This star-studded global dance track features an eclectic mix of musical talents, including rapper Megan Thee Stallion, renowned DJ David Guetta, celebrated Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, and HUNTR/X’s EJAE, who contributed lyrics in Korean.

Released on streaming services on Wednesday, June 10, through SALXCO UAM/Def Jam Recordings, “DNA” embodies the universal power of music to connect people across the globe. David Guetta not only helms the dance-heavy production but also infuses the track with an empowering message for the 48 competing teams, emphasizing that the World Cup transcends mere competition—it is “more than just a game.”

The collaboration itself is a testament to the World Cup's unifying spirit, bringing together artists from vastly different musical backgrounds. Andrea Bocelli expressed his profound honor, stating, “The title of the song ‘DNA,’ says everything. Football has been in my life for as long as I can remember and will always hold a very special place in my heart. To be invited to sing the anthem of the FIFA World Cup and to participate in the opening ceremony is an honor that moves me deeply.”

For EJAE, the anthem marks a deeply personal full-circle moment. Recalling her presence in Seoul during the 2002 World Cup, she shared, “It’s especially meaningful because I was able to write Korean lyrics in the song—representing South Korea on this stage is such an honor. One of my favorite childhood memories is being in Seoul during the 2002 World Cup, and seeing the city unite. I’ll never forget the feeling of seeing strangers on the street hug each other and celebrate.” Her contribution further highlights the diverse representation within the anthem.

Beyond the anthem, the FIFA World Cup 2026 promises an array of exciting events. The United States will play its first match against Paraguay on Friday night, June 12, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The tournament will culminate in the World Cup final in July, held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where a historic halftime show featuring global icons Madonna, Shakira, and BTS is anticipated.

Adding to the musical festivities, FIFA also released its Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album earlier in June. This album boasts a stellar lineup of superstar appearances from artists such as Anitta, Future, Tyla, 21 Savage, Shakira, Burna Boy, Daddy Yankee, Latto, and many more, further solidifying music’s integral role in celebrating the world’s most prestigious football tournament.
