President Donald Trump's historic state visit to Beijing was marked by both warm diplomatic exchanges and candid discussions on critical bilateral issues.

Addressing guests at the state banquet dinner in Beijing’s Great Hall of the People, President Trump extended profound gratitude for the exceptional hospitality.

He stated, “It was a fantastic day and in particular I want to thank President Xi, my friend, for this magnificent welcome. And it really was a magnificent welcome like none other. And for so graciously hosting us on this very historic state visit.”

Trump underscored the positive and productive nature of the day's meetings with the Chinese delegation, viewing the evening as a treasured opportunity to continue discussions beneficial to both the United States and China.

He emphasized the personal rapport established and the significant historical context of the visit.
