Global Power Couple Alert: Katy Perry & Justin Trudeau Confirm Romance in Paris Debut!

Pop superstar Katy Perry, 41, and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 53, have officially confirmed their relationship, making their first public appearance as a couple on Saturday, October 25. The couple celebrated Perry’s 41st birthday with a date night at Crazy Horse Paris, as reported by TMZ, where they were photographed leaving hand in hand and smiling.
This public confirmation follows months of speculation and earlier sightings. Perry had playfully hinted at being off the market during her London concert on October 13. When a fan held up a sign asking, “Katy Perry, will you marry me?” she responded, “You heard I was single? That’s interesting. You know you really should have asked me about 48 hours ago,” adding, “He’s just a little too late….”
Prior to these events, photos had emerged of Perry and Trudeau kissing on a yacht. They were also spotted dining together in Canada shortly after Trudeau attended Perry’s July concert in Montreal, where he was seen singing along to her hit “Firework” during her Lifetimes Tour stop at the Bell Centre.
The new romance comes a few months after Katy Perry’s highly publicized split from actor Orlando Bloom in early July. After dating on and off for nearly nine years, the former couple, who share a daughter named Daisy Dove, issued a statement through their representatives to Billboard. It confirmed they were “shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting” and would “continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
Similarly, Justin Trudeau also went through a public separation, announcing his split from his wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in August 2023. They share three children, and their separation, like Perry and Bloom’s, focused on maintaining a stable co-parenting environment.
