France Grants Electronic Music 'Intangible Cultural Heritage' Status

This decision follows the ministry's earlier declaration of clubs as legitimate “places of artistic expression and celebration,” further solidifying the cultural significance of electronic music within the nation.
Central to this recognition are pioneering artists such as Air, Cassius, Daft Punk, Justice, and, notably, Jean-Michel Jarre.
