Experience Tomorrow: AE.1 Atmos Lightship Redefines Electric Travel Living

The Lightship AE.1 Atmos introduces a new direction in electric RV design, priced at $184,000 and built for off-grid comfort.

A major highlight is its 77-kWh battery system, positioned under the floor to power all onboard systems while parked and even while in transit.

The trailer also features the proprietary TrekDrive system, designed to assist towing by powering an axle and improving efficiency through regenerative braking.

Lightship claims the system can deliver up to 300 miles of towing range, supported by aerodynamic towing modes and self-leveling capabilities.

An overnight stay near Newport Beach, California, highlighted the trailer’s liveability, with users experiencing its full comfort features in a real campsite setting.

The company, Lightship, founded in 2021 by Ben Parker and Toby Kraus, manufactures the AE.1 series in Colorado with a focus on electric mobility innovation.

The Atmos model sits at the top of the lineup, following earlier trims like Terros and Panos, and represents the brand’s most advanced luxury travel trailer to date.

The design positions the AE.1 Atmos as a major step toward the future of sustainable RV living, blending technology, comfort, and mobility.
