A significant event observed was the withdrawal of over 166,000 ETH from Binance within a single 24-hour period. This marks the strongest single-day withdrawal activity the exchange has recorded since March 2023, signaling a sudden increase in investor engagement and curiosity within the crypto community. Discussions have emerged regarding this sharp surge in Ethereum withdrawals, with many analysts attributing the heightened interest to the asset's price hovering around the $1,500 mark, which investors likely perceived as an attractive entry point for aggressive accumulation.
This surge in Ethereum withdrawals on Binance coincides with Ethereum's broader attempt to recover from a prolonged market correction. Prior to this uptick in withdrawal activity, Ethereum had faced consistent price declines since reaching its previous peak in early 2025. During this period, the asset experienced a substantial fall of approximately 67% from that peak, a decline estimated to be about 15% deeper than Bitcoin's performance over the same timeframe.
