The Kar-Jenner sisters have long faced accusations of using Ozempic, which surged in popularity as a weight-loss aid in 2022 after being manufactured as a diabetes medicine. This backdrop has intensified scrutiny on Lemme’s latest offerings.
Ozempic operates by leveraging a synthetic version of the GLP-1 hormone, naturally released by the body after eating. When injected, this man-made hormone slows digestion, reduces hunger pangs, and aids in shedding body weight. Several celebrities, including Lottie Moss who reportedly suffered a seizure from an overdose, have admitted to using the drug to slim down.
