Country Superstars Luke Bryan & Jason Aldean Set for Epic Reunion Concert at UGA's Sanford Stadium!

Country music superstars Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean are set to reunite for a highly anticipated co-headlining concert at the University of Georgia’s iconic Sanford Stadium. The Georgia-born artists and longtime friends officially announced on Saturday, September 27, that they will share the stage at the approximately 93,000-capacity venue in Athens on April 25, 2026, marking a significant return for live music to the historic stadium.
This upcoming event holds particular significance as it will be the first concert held at Sanford Stadium in over a decade. The last time the venue hosted a musical performance was in 2013, when Jason Aldean headlined his Night Train Tour, with Luke Bryan performing as the opening act. That original show made them the first artists ever to grace the stage at the stadium, and their return together promises to be a memorable occasion for fans.
Beyond the headliners, the 2026 UGA concert will feature a lineup of additional country acts, including Zach Top and Lauren Alaina. The event will also include appearances by popular entertainers DJ Rock and Dee Jay Silver, ensuring a diverse and energetic atmosphere for concertgoers. Ticket sales are scheduled to begin with pre-sales for Aldean and Bryan’s fan club members starting on Monday, September 29, followed by general ticket sales opening to the public on October 3.
This momentous concert is also set to kick off the newly established “Live Between the Hedges Concert Series Presented by Pruitt Health.” While additional events for this series had not been announced at the time of the initial press release, the inaugural show with Bryan and Aldean signals an exciting new chapter for entertainment at Sanford Stadium.
The surprise announcement was made live on SEC Nation by Aldean and Bryan themselves, just hours before Saturday night’s highly anticipated game between the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide at Sanford Stadium. They shared the exciting news in front of a spirited crowd of University of Georgia students, generating considerable buzz for the upcoming event.
Reflecting on their return, Jason Aldean shared his enthusiasm during the broadcast: “Luke and I had a chance to play at Sanford Stadium in 2013, the first concert — and only concert, I think — to ever be held there. To be able to go back again and do it again, Luke and I doing that together, is going to be pretty incredible. My favorite show we’ve ever done right there.” His comments underscore the special connection the artists have with the venue and the anticipation surrounding their joint performance.
