Chelsea BOMBSHELL: Maresca Axes £97M Star Sterling from First Team in Brutal Squad Shake-Up

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has made a definitive statement regarding the futures of Raheem Sterling, Axel Disasi, and David Datro Fofana, collectively dubbed the "bomb-squad." These three players, who represent a combined investment of £97 million, have been completely sidelined from the first-team squad and are now training away from the main group. This decision underscores a clear restructuring of the team under Maresca’s leadership.
The trio's exclusion is comprehensive: they are training on a separate pitch at a different time, eating on their own, and even using a separate toilet facility. When directly questioned about any possibility of these players forcing their way back into his plans, Maresca's response was unequivocally brutal: "No." This firm stance indicates that the Italian manager has no intention of reintegrating them into the Chelsea first team.
In other team news, Cole Palmer has recently returned to training, though not for the entire session, as he recovers from an injury. The club is managing his return carefully. Furthermore, Chelsea has secured a pre-agreement to sign Dutch forward Emanuel Emegha, 22, next year on a seven-year deal from their sister club Strasbourg, signaling future plans for the squad. The Blues are also preparing to travel across west London to face Brentford at the GTech Stadium tomorrow.
