Controversial self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has been remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Centre following her re-arraignment on fresh charges. This development occurred shortly after she was granted N10 million bail related to an alleged N69.1 million tenancy fraud case. Blessing CEO revealed her remand via an Instagram post on Wednesday, stating it marked her second time in prison, the first being in 2022 for alleged defamation and cyberbullying.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Blessing CEO before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, facing a fresh six-count charge. These charges border on obtaining money by false pretence and retaining proceeds linked to an alleged N13 million cancer donation fraud and falsification of cancer results. The commission stated that the charges stemmed from multiple petitions, including from the Nigeria Cancer Society, alleging that Blessing CEO solicited public donations claiming to be battling Stage 4 breast cancer. She allegedly confirmed receiving N13 million in public funds but later disappeared, only to reappear online to apologize and offer refunds after a doctored cancer report, linked to Deborah Mbara of Zazi Beauty Place, came to light.
The EFCC further alleged that documents presented by Blessing CEO to support her fundraising campaign were later discovered to be falsified. Despite the severe allegations, Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty to all six counts during her arraignment. She maintained her innocence, stating,
