Manchester City has officially announced that their esteemed manager, Pep Guardiola, will depart the club following Sunday’s season finale. Guardiola's tenure at City has been remarkably successful, spanning 10 top-flight seasons during which he has amassed an impressive 17 major trophies. This haul includes a remarkable six Premier League titles and a historic Champions League victory. His final match at the helm will see City face Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium.

The newly developed north stand at the Etihad will be named after him, and it is set to be fully open for the first time during his farewell game. Addressing his decision to leave, the 55-year-old manager stated, “Don’t ask me the reasons I’m leaving. There is no reason, but deep inside, I know it’s my time.
