Billboard Summit Shocker: Usher & Rauw Alejandro to Collaborate In Music’s

The highly anticipated Billboard Live Music Summit & Awards is set to return to Los Angeles on November 3, presented in partnership with AEG Presents. This premier event brings together a wide range of touring executives, top artists, and music industry professionals for a day of insightful conversations and networking opportunities.
A major highlight of this year's summit is the honor bestowed upon Usher, who will be recognized as the Touring Artist of the Year. With an illustrious career spanning 28 years, Usher boasts 8 Grammy Awards, 9 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits, and a legacy defined by countless sold-out arena tours, a record-breaking Las Vegas residency, and even a performance on the world's largest stage, the Super Bowl. He is set to engage in a conversation with Gail Mitchell, discussing his journey from an aspiring artist to a global household name and insights into his current tour.
Joining Usher as a featured speaker is Latin music sensation Rauw Alejandro. He will sit down with Hans from Live Nation and Billboard Español’s Leila Cobo to delve into his remarkable rise in the Latin music space and share his experiences from his extensive touring career. Both Usher and Rauw Alejandro were responsible for two of the biggest tours in 2025, making them ideal representatives to offer an artist's perspective at the summit.
AEG Presents, a world leader in the music and entertainment industry, known for its involvement in every step of creating live music experiences from iconic festivals to global tour promotions, is a key partner and will be sponsoring the Luncheon. This luncheon, held between panels, will provide attendees, artists, and panelists with a relaxed setting for additional conversations and crucial networking.
Beyond the headlining artist conversations, the summit will feature several specialized panels. The Ticketing Panel, moderated by Dave Brooks of Billboard, will include Kristen Mitchell (Wasserman), Lauren McKinney (Foundations Artist Management), and Dean Dewulf (AXS). This discussion will focus on critical aspects of the touring industry, such as accessibility to tickets, fan-first ticketing initiatives, and the future steps ticketing partners are pursuing. Additionally, the Agents Power panel will gather top agents from leading agencies like WME, CAA, UTA, AGI, and Arrival Artists to explore all facets of artist development and representation in the industry.
The Billboard Live Music Summit 2025 offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain insights into the dynamic world of live music, connect with industry leaders, and celebrate the achievements of touring artists like Usher and Rauw Alejandro, all facilitated by the expertise of AEG Presents.
