Anthony Joshua Accident Update: Nigerian Police Charge Driver in Lexus SUV Incident

Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, a 46-year-old male, driver of the Lexus SUV involved in the Anthony Joshua accident case, was officially arraigned before the Sagamu Magistrate Court. The arraignment took place on Friday, January 2, 2026, as confirmed by Police spokesperson DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi.
Following the proceedings, the case was subsequently adjourned. The Ogun State Police Command has set the next hearing date for January 20, 2026, ensuring that the legal process will continue.
The statement confirming these developments was issued by the Ogun State Police Command headquarters, located in Eleweran, Abeokuta. The Command also used this opportunity to reassure the general public that further updates regarding the case would be communicated transparently as the legal proceedings unfold.
