AllDay Project: The Five Best Friends Chasing One Dream Reveal Their Intimate Group Dynamic
AllDay Project is redefining the K-pop landscape with their coed lineup, individualistic style, and diverse backgrounds, setting them apart from other South Korean groups. The group recently showcased their unique appeal and performed their significant debut single, "Famous," at the TMElive International Music Awards in Hong Kong. Their bond as "five best friends chasing one dream" fuels their creative inspiration and authentic sound.
AllDay Project stands out among South Korean music groups, distinguishing themselves in several key aspects. During a backstage interview with Billboard, it became clear that their uniqueness extends beyond simply being a coed group, which is a rarity in the South Korean music scene, comprising three women and two men. Their style also breaks from typical K-pop aesthetics, as members embrace distinct, individualistic fashion senses rather than conforming to similarly tailored outfits within a shared color palette.
According to Annie, a member of AllDay Project, their uniqueness stems significantly from their diverse backgrounds. She emphasizes that the five members are fundamentally different people with varying strengths and weaknesses, which collectively contributes to their special dynamic. Annie describes the group as “five best friends chasing one dream together,” expressing gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside her closest friends.
The group recently performed in Hong Kong at the second annual TMElive International Music Awards, held from August 22-23. Beyond enjoying local delicacies like Hong Kong egg tarts and milk tea, AllDay Project captivated the audience at Kai Tak Stadium. They performed their debut single “Famous,” which Billboard recognized as one of the best K-pop songs of 2025, alongside other hits.
The debut single “Famous” holds deep significance for AllDay Project. Bailey shared that the song felt particularly special even during its recording. She explained that “’Famous’ really means a lot to us” and “connects with us on a deeper level for sure,” describing it as super authentic both sonically and lyrically. The group’s aspiration while creating the song was for it to resonate with listeners as profoundly as it resonated with them.
For AllDay Project, finding inspiration as a collective is not challenging, largely due to the substantial amount of time they spend together. Annie noted that “whenever we’re not working we choose to hang out with each other,” suggesting that new ideas often emerge from their shared experiences. Tarzzan humorously added, “We just generally love to be stupid. Like a child,” highlighting the lighthearted and close bond among the members.
