Air Peace Soars: New Direct Flights Connect Lagos to São Paulo, Igniting Nigeria-Brazil Travel
Air Peace, a leading Nigerian airline, has secured official approval to initiate direct passenger flights connecting Lagos, Nigeria, and São Paulo, Brazil. This significant development, confirmed by Air Peace Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Allen Onyema, is a direct outcome of the Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) recently signed between the two nations.
The agreement was formally concluded in Brasília, Brazil, during a high-level meeting. Nigeria's Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and Brazil's Minister of Ports and Airports, Silvio Filhos, finalized the pact in the esteemed presence of their respective heads of state, Presidents Bola Tinubu of Nigeria and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil. This diplomatic achievement paves the way for enhanced connectivity between the two countries.
