2027 Election Showdown: ADC Fights for Political Future at Supreme Court

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued an urgent plea to the Supreme Court of Nigeria, requesting that judgment in its leadership appeal be delivered within the next three days. The party, through a formal letter dated April 28, 2026, to the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, warned that a failure to do so would severely jeopardize its ability to participate in the 2027 general elections, thereby dashing the hopes of millions of Nigerians who intend to vote for the ADC and its candidates.
