Yungblud Defies Global Chaos: 2026 Australian Tour Rages On!

British music sensation Yungblud has announced the cancellation of all remaining tour dates for 2025 due to medical advice, following recent vocal and blood test results. The Doncaster-born artist revealed over the weekend that doctors have ordered him to suspend his touring commitments through the end of the year to prevent lasting damage to his health.
The announcement initially raised concerns regarding his highly anticipated 2026 Australian tour. However, promoter Frontier Touring has confirmed that the January shows in Australia remain unaffected and will proceed as scheduled. In a statement to media, Frontier Touring clarified, "Yungblud’s remaining U.S., Mexico and Latin America shows have been cancelled through to the end of 2025, per his statement. The Australian dates in 2026 remain as scheduled." The promoter also extended well wishes for his rest and recovery, expressing eagerness to see him in January.
Yungblud, known for his intensive touring schedule and high-energy performances, addressed his fans on Instagram on November 16. He explained that routine tests conducted after returning home from tour revealed concerns with his voice and blood, necessitating an immediate break. Acknowledging that slowing down is unfamiliar territory for him, he wrote, "It is in my nature to run and run until I run myself to the ground, but this time I’ve been told I have to take it seriously… I don’t want to do any lasting damage to myself."
The upcoming Australian leg marks Yungblud's largest headline shows in the region to date. The tour is set to kick off on January 10 at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, followed by subsequent outdoor and arena performances in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth. Due to significant demand, a second show in Brisbane has been added for January 18. This January run coincides with the artist's preparation for the next phase of his release cycle, concluding a year filled with festival appearances, international touring, and previews of new music across Europe and North America.
