'You are discharged and acquitted'
In his testimony, Brother Olawale said: “I have come to glorify the name of the Lord for delivering me from prison. I was in prison since January 2024. I was owing somebody N80,000 and when l could not pay, the person sent me to Kirikiri Prison. I would have come out before now, but court was not sitting. All the adjournments given to me were not honoured because court was not sitting. About a month or two ago, the Lord’s Chosen Prison Ministry visited the prison to introduce a programme to us, since then, they have been coming every week with food items to refreshen us. We were always very happy to see them because we know that when they come, there would be food and other refreshments. There was this particular week, they did not show up and we were very sad, because there was nothing to eat. However, after that week, they have been coming regularly and about two weeks ago, they came, note, other ministries have been coming, when they come, they will introduce Jesus Christ to us and some of us usually believe and surrender our lives to Christ.
Two weeks ago when the Lord’s Chosen Ministry came, l met two of their leaders and told them that l would be going to court on Monday, they prayed with me, before they left on that fateful Friday, after giving us food as usual. Then on Sunday/Monday, I had a dream. That was the first time l had a dream since l entered prison. In that dream, l saw myself struggling to swim out of a river. In fact, the more I struggled, the more I sunk. I was crying for help, as I was helplessly sinking until a sudden strong wave brought a whale. At the back of the whale was a bold inscription: ‘The God of Chosen appeared.’ Immediately I read it, l saw myself on dry ground and did not see the fish again.
Olawale continued: “When l woke up, l began to say in my subconscious, ‘The God of Chosen appeared’ at day break. I went to take my bath in preparation for court, after taking my bath, within an interval of thirty minutes, the Black Mariathat would take us to court came and l boarded it. While in the vehicle, l muttered to myself that this would be the last time l would enter this vehicle. All other inmates in the vehicle were making noise, but l kept quiet and was saying in my mind, ‘The God of Chosen appeared.’ Wegot to the court and were locked in the cell, as usually. While there, they began to call other inmates, then l said: “God of Chosen, let my court sit today. As magistrate sets her eyes on me, let her release me today.” The prayer was still in my mouth, when I heard my name outside…‘Olawale Ajikawo’ and l answered, ‘Si-r-r-r-r-r.’ The warder that called me, came, opened the cell and took me inside the court. They called few cases and then called me. When I entered the dock, the magistrate looked at me and asked, ‘Baba, are you still there?’ l answered,‘yes, my Lord!’ Then he said, ‘appearances’and the prosecutor stood up for me, I did not have any lawyer or anybody. The prosecutor said: ‘My Lord, we are pleading for one month adjournment.’ As soon as l heard it, l did not know what came over me and l shouted, ‘The God of Chosen appear.’ Then the magistrate dropped the biro he was holding and took another one and began to write; after about three to five minutes of writing, he dropped his biro and said: ‘By the power conferred on me, as the magistrate of this court, you are hereby discharged and acquitted.’
God of Chosen is great and may His name be glorified in Jesus’ name. I pray for the General Overseer and all the Chosen members worldwide to make heaven at last in Jesus’ name …Amen!”
