Yamoransa Model's 4th Impact Roundtable Discussion, robotics competition set for February 22-26
The Yamoransa Model (YM) Labs Program, funded by the Helping Africa Foundation (HAF) and managed by IMPLEMENTERS, has announced the fourth edition of the Annual Impact Roundtable Discussion (AIRTAD) and Robotics Competition.
The event is scheduled to take place from the 22nd to the 26th of February 2025 under the theme, “The Yamoransa Model Impact Year: Scaling the Successes of Bridging Educational Gaps with Technology.”
For the past nine years, the YM Labs Program has pioneered Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and STEAM education to underserved communities across Ghana and other African countries.
The Yamoransa Model aims to provide an opportunity for students to expand their STEAM education through practical experience.
The program has empowered primary, junior and secondary school students with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in today’s digital world. AIRTAD serves as a platform to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the YM Labs Program while fostering critical discussions on the future of STEAM education in Ghana.
This year’s event is in two parts: The preliminary competitions which take place on the 22nd and the 24th of February 2025 at the Academic City University, Accra, and the main event, which will be held on 25th-26th February 2025 at the Cedi Conference Center, University of Ghana, Legon.
