XRP Rally Ignites: Spot Market Flows Surge 2,860% Amid Rising Risk Appetite

After an extended period of downward pressure, XRP is showing early signs of stabilization. A notable uptick in spot market activity suggests traders are cautiously returning to higher-risk positions. In the past eight hours, XRP spot flows have soared by an eye-popping +2,860%, marking one of the largest short-term expansions in recent memory.
Although current price movements remain fragile, the sheer volume of inflows points to active market participation, particularly after XRP had reached oversold conditions. Positive net inflows in both futures and spot markets indicate that traders are preparing for at least a short-term rebound rather than a continued decline. This pattern is often observed near local bottoms following prolonged liquidation phases.
The recovery attempt is unfolding during a typically weaker weekend trading session, and the broader cryptocurrency market remains influenced by prevailing bearish sentiment. Weekend spikes can be temporary, often fading once full market liquidity returns on Monday. Whether this surge translates into a sustained uptrend or another short-lived rebound will largely depend on early-week trading activity.
On-chain data provides additional insight into XRP’s dynamics. Payment volume on the XRP Ledger has dropped sharply, signaling a slowdown in both enterprise and institutional activity. This decline suggests that speculative flows currently dominate, rather than fundamental demand. If spot inflows persist and XRP maintains its recent lows, the probability of a technical recovery toward key resistance zones rises considerably.
For now, XRP appears positioned for potential recovery, though confirmation depends on a sustained influx of new liquidity once standard trading conditions resume. The start of the trading week will be crucial in determining the durability and strength of this emerging rebound.
