XRP ETFs Ignite Market: Ninth Consecutive Day of Massive Inflows

XRP spot Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) have demonstrated a robust performance, extending their impressive streak of daily net inflows to nine consecutive trading days, culminating on August 25. This sustained positive trend occurred even as the broader cryptocurrency market experienced a sell-off, indicating strong investor confidence in XRP-backed products.

On August 25, investors collectively added $23.87 million to these products. According to data from SoSoValue, this latest inflow propelled the cumulative net inflows into U.S. spot XRP ETFs to a significant $1.6 billion. By the close of trading on that day, the funds held a total of $1.46 billion in net assets, underscoring their growing market presence.

Among the various providers, Bitwise's XRP ETF emerged as the leader in the latest round of inflows, attracting $11.02 million. Franklin Templeton's fund secured the second position with $6.39 million in new investments, while Grayscale's XRP ETF saw a considerable inflow of $4.28 million. Canary Capital also contributed to the positive trend by recording another $2.19 million. Notably, the 21Shares XRP ETF reported no net flow for the day, suggesting a stable but not growing position.

The journey to this nine-day streak was marked by earlier fluctuations. U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded no combined inflows on August 14 and August 17. However, they swiftly returned to positive territory with $5.81 million on August 18. Following this, the funds attracted $2.35 million on August 19, $13.24 million on August 20, $18.38 million on August 21, $13.82 million on August 24, and the aforementioned $23.87 million on August 25. Over the last five trading sessions alone, the funds collectively attracted approximately $77.5 million, building on the previous week's $39.8 million in net inflows.

Demand for XRP spot ETFs was relatively stagnant during the initial part of August, with several consecutive days reporting zero net inflows. Cumulative inflows hovered around $1.51 billion between August 5 and August 18. However, the latter half of the month, from August 18 onward, witnessed a significant surge in investor interest and capital injection. This renewed interest coincided with XRP's improved market performance, as CoinGecko data indicates it is currently trading at $1.44, representing a 40% increase over the past two weeks.
