WWE RAW Results & Highlights (3/24/25): John Cena lays out his plan to retire as the 'last real champion' and more

WWE RAW

continued to intensify the road to WrestleMania 41 with its latest stop being in Glasgow, Scotland that produced a stellar show.
The March 24th, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW emanated from the OVO Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland. The show opened with another John Cena heel promo and followed with some more memorable moments and classic matches for the fans of Scotland.

John Cena once again came down to a loud chorus of boos from the fans. He recalled his words last week, claiming that no is safe from his wrath. He brought up his old spinner title belt, which the fans hated and disrespected his legacy. Cena vowed to win a 17th World title and retire as the last true champion. Cody Rhodes came out and exchanged words with him. Moreover, Rhodes challenges him to take the title belt right there, but Cena instead chooses to walk away. Rhodes says that it is exactly what will happen at WrestleMania, with Cena walking out with nothing.

Jey Uso picked his brother Jimmy as his surprise partner for the tag team match against A-Town Down Under. The Usos displayed their exceptional in-ring acumen as a team after a long time. It was a great showdown that ended with The Usos hitting the 1D on Austin Theory to pick up the win. After the match, Gunther comes to attack them. Jey looked to spear him, but he tripped, allowing Gunther to take advantage. But he quickly retreated as Jimmy came with a chair.

This match was for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. Lyra Valkyria put up a great effort against the imposing Raquel Rodriguez, who had Liv Morgan by her side. But despite the numbers game, Valkyria executed a swift rollup as Raquel tried to deliver a Tejana Bomb to retain her title.

RAW GM Adam Pearce addressed the events of last week and claimed that despite Rhea signing her name on the contract, she is not in the WrestleMania 41 match. As things get heated between Rhea Ripley, IYO Sky, and Bianca Belair, Pearce proposes a solution. Next week, Rhea will have a rematch with IYO Sky for the Women's title, with the winner facing Bianca at WrestleMania. This led to a brawl between the trio and ended with Belair delivering a KOD to IYO Sky on top of Rhea Ripley.

The match was made after Chad Gable backed out due to medical reasons. It was a classic display of Lucha Libre, with El Grande Americano putting up a great showing in his first match. Towards the end of the bout, El Grande ripped off Dragon Lee's mask, who dropped to the mat to cover his face. He then locked in the ankle lock with Dragon Lee tapping out.

CM Punk came out to RAW, and despite the heavy cheers, he revealed that he was not in a good mood. He claimed that things did not go his way on the road to WrestleMania 41 due to Seth Rollins costing him major opportunities and Roman Reigns getting in between. He also teased that Paul Heyman was not just Wiseman. Following a scratching choice of words for both men, Punk revealed that he will be on SmackDown this week for their WrestleMania 41 match contract signing and take both Reigns and Rollins out of the business he brought them into.

This was the main event for RAW, with the WWE Intercontinental title on the line. It was a spectacular showdown between the two rising stars of RAW, who delivered a captivating match. Penta's lucha style went up against Bron's imposing speed and power. However, the ending was ruined by Judgment Day as Dominik Mysterio and Carlito interfered to cause a DQ win for Bron Breakker. Finn Balor then arrived to hit Breakker with a chair. Penta looked confused as he was the chair, but he handed it back to Dominik Mysterio and nailed him with a superkick. Balor went berserk, taking out Penta and Breakker to stand tall at the end of RAW.
