The emergency services, including armed police, were called to a block of flats in Blackley on Sunday evening, April 19, after a woman was discovered deceased.

The incident unfolded on BroadmossDrive, specifically at the entrance of Somerton Court, where a significant police presence, including detectives, forensics, and ambulance staff, was observed.

Following the discovery, a man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.
