William Ruto Announces 4,000 Internship Positions for Kenyans in Affordable Housing Programme
President William Ruto has announced open internship opportunities for Kenyans in the affordable housing programme.

Ruto made the announcement during the launch of the Affordable Housing Internship Programme on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
The head of state noted that the programme is part of his administration's commitment to transform the country's economy.
"Transforming a country does not come easy. It takes courage, foresight and commitment. We will keep pushing. Our vision for a better Kenya is irreversible.
"The Affordable Housing Programme showcases the right steps we are taking in making our country prosperous for all," said Ruto.
The president added that programme is designed to meet the practical needs of the affordable housing agenda on job creation.
He said the 4,000 interns will be fresh graduates absorbed from the building profession, including architects, surveyors, engineers, construction managers, among others.
The affordable housing programme, which targets to build 200,000 units per year, is estimated to employ more than 250,000 Kenyans.
