Victor Wembanyama, the rising star of the NBA, has officially extended his contract with Nike, paving the way for a signature sneaker. This new pact comes on the heels of Wembanyama's recently signed five-year, $252 million maximum rookie-scale contract extension with the San Antonio Spurs. He became eligible for this lucrative extension with the Spurs after their elimination in the NBA Finals by the New York Knicks.
Beyond his basketball commitments and footwear deal, Wembanyama also serves as a prominent ambassador for the French luxury fashion house, Louis Vuitton, a role he has held since 2024. His third NBA season saw him play in 64 games, where he achieved career highs in points, averaging 25.0, and rebounds, with 11.5 per game. He also contributed 3.1 assists per contest.
