Watch Drake bring out Central Cee, Dave, Skepta, J Hus and more for his second night headlining Wireless Festival

Published 13 hours ago4 minute read

Drake played the second of three headline sets at Wireless Festival last night, and brought out many special guests to mark the occasion. See footage below.

The rapper is the first artist to headline the festival for three nights with three different setlists. On Friday (July 11), he opened the mini-residency by celebrating R&B, bringing out Lauryn Hill, Mario, Bobby Valentino, Bryson Tiller, Giveon and PARTYNEXTDOOR. You can read a full roundup here.

Last night (July 12), for a set coined “Drake & The Mandem”, he brought out a host of figures from the UK rap scene, declaring: “London rappers are the best lyricists in the world.”

“No disrespect to America, but nobody in the world can out-rap London rappers,” he continued. “This is the highest level – this is what I aspire to be.”

In a bid to prove his point, he welcomed Fakemink to the stage to perform ‘Music and Me’, before also bringing K-Trap on for a rendition of ‘Warm’.

J Hus then joined the set to perform their 2023 collaboration ‘Who Told You’. Drake famously brought J Hus out on stage at the O2 Arena in 2019 on the day he was released from prison, which he referenced on Saturday evening as “one of my greatest moments as a performer”.

Afterwards, Skepta came on stage to perform ‘Shutdown’, followed by Dave with ‘Wanna Know’, shortly followed by Central Cee, who joined for ‘Sprinter’. Check out all the clips below.

He also surprise-released a new song, ‘What Did I Miss?’, which seems to call out his fake friends.

It comes after Drake confirmed that he is working on a new solo album back in April, which he said is “a slap”. While little else has been revealed about the album – including its release date – it will mark the rapper’s first solo record since 2023’s ‘For All The Dogs’.

Drake also recently revealed how much money he’s lost on gambling bets in June alone.
