Watch: Cincinnati Reds Honor Pete Rose with Tribute Video Before Matchup vs White Sox
The Cincinnati Reds hosted Pete Rose Night on Wednesday night at Great American Ball Park.
Rose finished his career with 4,256 hits, three World Series Championships, 17 All-Star appearances and one MVP. He was inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame in 2016. There's a statue of Rose outside of Great American Ballpark.
He passed away on September 30, 2024.
On Tuesday, it was announced that Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred removed Rose from the permanently ineligible list and he will now have the chance to be eligible for the Hall of Fame in 2027.
