The event was marked by vibrant cultural displays, including traditional dances, songs, and an abundance of food.
Among the notable attendees was YouTuber Oga Obinna, whose arrival by helicopter added a touch of flair to the occasion.
However, the celebration took an unexpected turn when a man attempted to confront the pilot of the chopper, registered as 5Y-PKZ, before its departure.
Security personnel intervened, removing the individual from the scene, but he returned and managed to cling to the helicopter's landing gear as it took off.
The man was later dropped onto a farm, visibly shaken and weak. Concerned residents rushed to assist him, but the incident has sparked widespread outrage among Kenyans.
Many have condemned the act, calling for the man's arrest for endangering his own life and the lives of those aboard the helicopter.
Justus Oboso
"I don't get it guys. What are you celebrating? This is the highest degree of stupidity I have ever witnessed."
Reti Ben
"How do security guys allow people to be that close? Do they know the danger that lurks if things go south for the chopper?"
Shosh Mel Trinity
"For real this is the highest degree of stupidity and you are celebrating as if he has done good he should be arrested and punished for risking his life, life is good why play with it before your maker comes for his life since he is the owner of life."
Denis Ndirangu
"What if he had died? People are willing to do stupid things just to trend."
Erastus Kamau
"What does that kind of stupidity have to do with courage? That's utter nonsense."
Jakim Okoth
"The guy can't survive if not checked. That is njaa. There's no dignity in it."
Prince Yusuf Chiwaya
"He will be arrested for risking his life and the lives of those on board. All those who did this before faced the same thing. It's not about fear having gone, only people with mental health issues can decide to do that."
Margaret Nyagathua
"Why would he even choose to do that? Anafaa mabare!"
Meanwhile, Indah’s arrival at his bride's homestead was nothing short of grand.
