Unleashed: Lamborghini's 2027 Revuelto SV, A Track-Attacking Legend Breaks Cover!

Lamborghini has introduced its latest track-attacking superstar, the 2027 Lamborghini Revuelto SV, a model destined to become the crown jewel of the current Revuelto lineup. The Super Veloce (SV) badge signifies the Italian automaker's ultimate expression of its already incredible vehicles, making them even more agile, lighter, and powerful. The Revuelto SV proudly joins a lineage of Raging Bull legends such as the Miura SV, Diablo SV, Murcielago SV, and Aventador SV.

While the existing Revuelto is already an outrageous machine, the SV version takes it to an entirely new level. It is a highly focused machine that borders on being an actual race car, designed specifically for hot-lapping on a racetrack.

Under the hood, the Revuelto SV iterates on the plug-in hybrid powertrain found in the standard Revuelto. It features Lamborghini’s 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V-12 engine, now assisted by three electric motors to produce an impressive combined output of 1,050 hp and 1,051 lb-ft of torque. This represents an increase of approximately 50 horsepower over the standard Revuelto, achieved through an even more enhanced battery system. The glorious V-12 engine screams through a special performance exhaust, with tailpipes offering an optional matte bronze finish. The eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission has also been upgraded to shift 30 percent faster than before.

Performance figures are staggering: acceleration from 0 to 62 mph occurs in a mere 2.4 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 214 mph, according to Lamborghini. This makes the Revuelto SV the fastest and most powerful model to ever roll out of the automaker’s famed factory in Sant-Agata Bolognese.

For superior handling and driving dynamics, the Revuelto SV incorporates a set of adjustable dampers derived from Lamborghini's GT3 race cars. These dampers reportedly enhance driving feel and are meticulously designed to respond to personal driving styles and preferences, offering presets for various conditions such as bumpy, wet, or flat tracks. Lamborghini states that this new setup allows the SV to corner at significantly higher speeds, boasting 17 percent more agility and 10 percent more lateral grip compared to the standard Revuelto.

Stopping power is also vastly improved thanks to a new set of CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brake discs. These feature racing-derived ventilation and a dedicated friction layer, and are exceptionally large, measuring 16.5 inches at the front and 16.4 inches in the rear. Thanks to the advanced venting and floating-disc design, the SV can repeatedly brake from higher speeds without any loss in performance. Lamborghini claims an 11 percent increase in peak deceleration, 23 percent more heat dissipation, and 12 percent less brake disc temperature over the normal Revuelto. Owners can also customize their brake calipers with a choice of 12 different colors. Additionally, the SV introduces an Integrated Brake Control system, which uses a sensor to read the car’s inertia, thereby improving braking precision and performance in real time.
