Trump Unleashes Global Crisis: Iran Confrontation Ignites Red Sea Fury, Sparks Market Chaos and Trade War Threats

The relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom has become significantly strained due to sharp disagreements over the US's approach to the Middle East, particularly the war in Iran. Former US President Donald Trump has overtly threatened to modify the trade deal signed with the UK last year, stating it was “better than I had to” and could “always be changed.” This threat is a direct consequence of the UK's refusal to fully support the US military campaign in Iran, leading Trump to accuse Britain of being “not there when we needed them.”
UK ministers have previously highlighted the trade agreement, which cut tariffs on cars, aluminum, and steel, as a symbol of strong US-UK ties.
