Trump Rages At Rock-Throwing ICE Protesters — Orders 'ARREST AND INCARCERATION' By 'ANY MEANS'

President raged at protesters he says were throwing rocks at ICE vehicles, ordering his deportation forces to “ARREST AND INCARCERATE” anyone who engages in the behavior by “any means.”

Resistance to Trump’s deportation raids has ramped up over the past few months, and has included violent attacks on ICE agents. The president said he witnessed such an incident in an angry Truth Social post as he returned from touring flood damage in Texas:

I am on my way back from Texas, and watched in disbelief as THUGS were violently throwing rocks and bricks at ICE Officers while they were moving down a roadway in their car and/or official vehicle. Tremendous damage was done to these brand new vehicles. I know for a fact that these Officers are having a hard time with allowing this to happen in that it shows such total disrespect for LAW AND ORDER. Therefore, I am directing Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, and Border Czar, Tom Homan, to instruct all ICE, Homeland Security, or any other Law Enforcement Officer who is on the receiving end of thrown rocks, bricks, or any other form of assault, to stop their car, and arrest these SLIMEBALLS, using whatever means is necessary to do so. I am giving Total Authorization for ICE to protect itself, just like they protect the Public. I never want to see a car carrying a Law Enforcement Officer attacked again! AUTHORIZATION IMMEDIATELY GRANTED FOR ARREST AND INCARCERATION. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Pool reports from Trump’s visit do not include descriptions of the incident, but the press pool was not with the president’s motorcade as it traveled to the airport.

“POTUS and FLOTUS were already in M1 by the time pool pulled up back at Kerrville Kerr-County airport,” the pool reported.

Trump’s order appears to be an attempt to greatly expand ICE’s authority to perform arrests for non-immigration crimes, which legal experts say is only permissible under narrow circumstances.
