Trailer Drop: 'Real Housewives Ultimate Girls’ Trip: Africa' Teases Epic Drama!

Showmax is set to elevate its acclaimed reality programming with the premiere of the new Showmax Original series, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa. This highly anticipated spin-off brings together a dynamic group of women from across the continent for an unparalleled adventure in the vibrant setting of Brazil. Building on the remarkable success of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: South Africa, which emerged as one of Showmax’s most-watched series in 2024, this pan-African edition promises to take drama, glamour, and sisterhood to unprecedented heights.
The series is scheduled to make its grand debut on Showmax on Friday, 28 November 2025. The cast features an exciting lineup of Housewives representing various African countries. From Nigeria, fans will see Mariam Timmer of The Real Housewives of Lagos and Princess Jecoco of The Real Housewives of Abuja, with Princess Jecoco making her return after debuting in the Abuja show's first season. South Africa will be well-represented by Annie Mthembu, Angel Ndlela, and Jojo Robinson from The Real Housewives of Durban. Additionally, Madam Evodia Mogase and Christall Kay will be flying in from Johannesburg, having previously starred in The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: South Africa, with Christall Kay cementing her reputation as the ultimate comeback queen. Bringing East African flair and sophistication are Dr Catherine Masitsa and Zena Nyambu from Nairobi, Kenya.
Executives involved in the production expressed their excitement for the new series.
