The aircraft, registered as 5Y-CCA, was operated by Mombasa Air Services and was on its scheduled flight path from Diani to Kichwa Tembo when it went down. According to the KCAA's statement, all twelve persons who were on board the aircraft are feared to have perished in the crash.
