According to figures released by the party, millions of registered APC members participated in the exercise, with Tinubu securing the overwhelming majority of votes cast.
The results reflected strong support across multiple states, with several chapters of the party delivering near-unanimous backing for the president’s candidacy.

Several governors and stakeholders commended the turnout, describing it as evidence of growing confidence in the party and its leadership ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking after participating in the exercise, Tinubu said the primary represented an important democratic process within the party and thanked members for their support.
With the presidential ticket now secured, attention is expected to shift toward the general election campaign, which will ultimately be overseen by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as political parties prepare for the 2027 polls.
