President Bola Tinubu approved a targeted cabinet reshuffle, directing former Finance Minister Wale Edun to hand over responsibilities to Taiwo Oyedele, previously his deputy.
The change, announced by Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, is aimed at boosting economic delivery under the administration's Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development is also affected, with Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa departing and Dr. Muttaqha Rabe Darma named as minister-designate pending Senate confirmation.
All handover processes were mandated to conclude by close of business on April 23, per the SGF's directive.
