President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed appreciation to Governor Abdullahi Sule and the people of Nasarawa State for the warm reception during his visit and for naming key legacy projects after him.

The President, whose aircraft touched down at the Uthman Danfodio Airport in Lafia at 1:58 p.m., made the remarks while commissioning the Lafia Flyover and Bypass, now named “Tinubu Flyover” by Governor Sule.

He urged residents to remain steadfast in supporting his administration’s drive toward economic recovery and national prosperity.

Tinubu commended the governor for prioritising projects that have a direct impact on citizens, describing it as a testament to good governance.

Earlier, Governor Sule said the flyover and underpass were inspired by the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and were executed without the state borrowing any funds.

He also commissioned the newly dualised one-kilometre Shendan Road, now named “The Bola Tinubu Exchange Road.”
