In 2025, the Cannes International Film Festival celebrates 78 years of incredible style, and award-winning movie premieres (of course).
To show our love for the fashion at the annual festival, let's reminisce about our favourite looks.

The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence stunned in a red Christian Dior couture gown for the Anatomy Of A Fall screening in 2023.
When she lifted her dress, the star caused quite a stir over one unconventional fashion choice on the red carpet.

While heels are the usual go-to shoe choice at major red carpet events like Cannes, Lawrence changed things up by wearing a pair of black thongs hidden beneath her floor-length dress.
"I was not making a political statement," the actress told Entertainment Tonight after her shoe choice made headlines.
"I had no idea until it came out that there was a whole controversy with people wearing flats or walking down the red carpet barefoot, I had no clue.
"My shoes were a size too big," she simply explained her choice.
