The Mazda MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition is as limited as it gets, priced at Php 2.5M

When first previewed the special of the , more popularly known as the Miata or Roadster, at the Mazda Fan Festa 2024 in Japan, we were left wondering when and if it will be introduced in our market like other special edition versions of the iconic nameplate.

It’s finally here, introduced today at the sidelines of the event in Bonifacio Global City. There’s a catch though, you’d have to be quick to get your hands on one as only a small number of units will be available.

To be exact, Mazda Philippines will only be offering a total of of the MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition in our market, with half of the allocation already spoken for.

Built on the most recent “ND3” update of the two-door convertible, the 35th Anniversary Edition here in the Philippines is exclusively available in form with a . This is matched with a variant-exclusive paint job, , and a showing the vehicle’s production number and 35th Anniversary text on the rear-right fender.

The interior gets a , along with on the headrests, a set of special , and Artisan Red interior accents. The vehicle’s key fob also gets an Artisan Red casing, matching the vehicle’s exterior.

As for mechanicals, the 35th Anniversary Edition for our market gets the same powertrains as the standard MX-5 variants. that’s a engine that produces and 205 Nm of torque. This one though is exclusively mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

You can only get it in a manual.

Now for its price, the Mazda MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition is available for Php 2,500,000. Again, if you want one of these, you’ll have to act fast as units are limited.
