The Bear's Molly Gordon Gives New Update On Season 5 Production Status After Unprecedented Delay

The Bear star Molly Gordon has shared an update regarding season 5, following rumors of an unprecedented delay. The Bear was officially renewed for season 5 less than a week after season 4 premiered on Hulu. Though the latest season once again divided audiences and critics, the kitchen chaos we've all learned to love will return once more.

There are major changes on the horizon, though, with Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) announcing his retirement from the restaurant business in The Bear season 4 finale and Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and Natalie (Abby Elliott) becoming joint partners to (hopefully) secure the restaurant's future.

During an interview with ScreenRant's Liam Crowley for her upcoming dark romantic comedy, Oh, Hi!, Gordon, who plays Carmy's love interest and Berzatto family friend Claire on The Bear, shared how she and the other cast members discovered the show had been renewed for season 5.
