Ahmedabad: The maximum temperature in the city on Saturday was 34.5 degrees celsius, which was 2.2 degrees higher than normal. Likewise, the minimum temperature at 19.3 degrees celsius was 3.7 degrees higher than normal. The mixed season continued for the citizens with cloudy weather in the morning hours and higher temperatures in the afternoon hours.
On Sunday, maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 35 degrees celsius and 20 degrees celsius respectively, mentioned the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast. "No large change in maximum and minimum temperatures during the next three days. Thereafter, a rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius is very likely over the region," mentioned the forecast.
At 15.5 degrees celsius, Naliya was the lowest minimum temperature on Saturday, whereas Rajkot was the highest maximum temperature at 36.5 degrees celsius.
