Ahmedabad: On Saturday, the minimum temperature of 15.2 degrees celsius was at par with the normal range. On the other hand, the
maximum temperature
of 34.7 degrees was 3.6 degrees higher than normal. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, with westerly to northwesterly winds prevailing over the region, the maximum and minimum temperatures on Sunday in the city are likely to be around 34 degrees and 16 degrees, respectively.
‘No large change in maximum or minimum temperatures during the next two days. Thereafter, a rise by 2-3 degrees celsius is very likely over the region,' mentioned the forecast.
At 13.2 degrees, Porbandar had the lowest minimum temperature in Gujarat on Saturday, followed by 13.5 degrees in Gandhinagar and 14.1 degrees in Naliya. At 37.4 degrees, Kandla had the highest maximum temperature.
