Temi Otedola & Mr Eazi's Epic Wedding Journey Unveiled Across Continents!

The love story of Temi Otedola and Oluwatosin “Mr Eazi” Ajibade culminated in a truly magical, three-part wedding celebration spanning three breathtaking international destinations. Their journey to marriage began with a dreamy proposal in Venice three years prior, following a meet-cute at the Tate Club in London in 2017. This year, the couple orchestrated an extraordinary series of ceremonies, each meticulously planned to reflect their unique bond and heritage, earning them significant media attention, including coverage in Vogue Wedding magazine.

The festivities commenced on May 9th with an intimate and chic civil ceremony in Monaco, a date chosen to honor Mr. Eazi’s late mother’s birthday. Temi radiated elegance in a custom Wiederhoeft ensemble, complemented by exquisite Briony Raymond jewellery, while Mr. Eazi opted for a sophisticated Louis Vuitton look. Following the official proceedings, the couple celebrated with champagne at Karl Lagerfeld’s former home, setting a tone of understated luxury for their nuptials.

Two months later, the celebrations moved to Dubai for a vibrant traditional Yoruba wedding held at the Otedola family home. This event was a rich tapestry of culture, color, and heartfelt joy, where Temi and Mr. Eazi beautifully honored their heritage. Temi showcased four stunning outfit changes, each a masterpiece from renowned designers. Her first look was an ivory gown by Zac Posen, featuring sculptural razor-sharp pleats, a dramatic bow, and a trailing train, paired with a perfectly sculpted gele. She then transitioned into a bold ensemble by Miss Sohee, comprising a deep red embroidered skirt, a powder-blue corset blouse with floral rosettes, and a dramatic cape. For her third look, Temi paid a poignant tribute to Mr. Eazi’s late mother by wearing a Lisa Folawiyo creation inspired by akwa ocha, a strapless, beaded dress with fringe, adorned with piled coral beads and an okuku headpiece. The reception transformed into "My very own Nigerian Members Club," as Temi described it, with over 2,000 lanterns in a grand tent and Ankara-upholstered booths, featuring entertainment by King Sunny Adé & His African Beats.

The grand finale was a dreamy white wedding in August, against the stunning natural backdrops of Iceland. The couple exchanged vows at Reykjavik’s iconic Hallgrimskirkja church, with Temi making a breathtaking entrance in a Fendi Haute Couture gown. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s 1954 wedding dress, the "marble-like masterpiece" of silk swirling like mist created a truly cinematic moment, captured memorably by photographer Jose Villa. Mr. Eazi awaited her in a distinguished Saint Laurent look as Wagner’s "Bridal Chorus" filled the air. The reception took place in a magnificent glass tent nestled among Icelandic fields at Kleif Farm, incorporating elements of moss and volcanic stone. A special surprise for Temi was a performance by John Legend. The celebrations culminated in an unforgettable arctic beach party, where the Northern Lights made a spectacular appearance at midnight.

Throughout their journey, Temi and Mr. Eazi emphasized intentionality and personalization. As Temi stated, "Eazi and I have always been unconventional. We honored our rich culture but made sure everything felt like us." From choosing Monaco for family connections to celebrating heritage in Dubai and concluding in their favorite place on earth, each chapter was a masterclass in storytelling. The entire three-part wedding was meticulously planned by @califanoproductions, with stunning photography by @josevilla, ensuring every moment of their truly fairytale celebration was beautifully captured.
