On his part, Temeke Municipal Director Jomaary Satura explained that the construction of the multi storey schools will help address a shortage of more than 2,500 classrooms in the municipality. He also noted that the construction of referral hospitals in Yombo, Buza, and Kijichi will alleviate challenges related to limited access to healthcare services, especially in areas with rapid population growth.

Speaking on behalf of residents and the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party, Temeke District CCM Chairperson Zena Mgaya stated that over 85percent of the CCM election manifesto has already been implemented in the district. She commended the government for continuing to deliver impactful development projects for the benefit of the people.

In a related development, the Temeke Municipality received a delegation from the Government of China, which visited the area to sign cooperation agreements covering various development sectors, including technology.

The successful implementation of these projects is expected to enhance social services, improve access to education and healthcare, and stimulate economic development across Temeke Municipality.
