TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — A teenager was injured in a shooting that occurred in Tuscaloosa on Friday night, according to the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department responded around 7:20 p.m. to a shooting in the 3200 block of Hope Boulevard. A teen was shot at least two times and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

According to the TVCU, the victim is in stable condition. The TVCU is continuing its investigation into the shooting. The TVCU did not release information regarding suspects.
