Albuquerque man pleads guilty to child abuse charges

(KRQE) – An Albuquerque man pled guilty to child abuse charges from nearly two years ago. In 2023, a Walmart security guard noticed bruises on a six-year-old girl and called the police with concerns about her being abused. Police later talked with the girl and her siblings, who told police they were severely abused. Their father, Anthony Blake, was later arrested.
Police: 50-year-old man arrested for paying 14-year-old human trafficking victim for sex
On Friday, Blake pled guilty to five counts of child abuse. He is facing up to 12 years in prison.
