Tata Motors and other auto stocks trade muted amid tariff concerns
Tata Motors and other auto stocks including Samvardhana Motherson and Sona BLW Precision are in focus in Wednesday's session as after the reciprocal announcement on the 'Liberation Day' later today, auto import tariffs to the tune of 25 per cent will come into effect from tomorrow (April 3, 2025).
As we write, Tata Motors shares traded with tad gains at Rs 672.45 per share, while Samvardhana Motherson and Sona BLW Precision traded mixed, with the former down marginally and on the other hand Sona BLW was up by a margin at Rs 461.9 per share.
In the previous day's trade also Tata Motors shares fell and ended 0.39 per cent lower at Rs 671.85 per share on the NSE, while Samvardhana Motherson and Sona BLW ended mixed with the former ending a tad higher and the latter ending lower.
